From the Battlefield to the Blood Bank
Veterans Day 2025 is Upon Us
One of the best ways to honor veterans on Veterans Day is to plan the acknowledgement well in advance of the event. This is what ImpactLife Blood Center did by focusing on the battlefield to the blood bank. The short introductory paragraph below is the ‘ask’ for blood donations. My role comes after the introduction.

“On Veterans Day (November 11), ImpactLife salutes veterans of the United States Armed Services. We celebrate the longstanding connection between blood donation and military medicine. ImpactLife would like to show its appreciation for the commitment and shared sacrifice of veterans across our region. ImpactLife invites all eligible donors to honor those who served. During Veterans Day week, schedule a blood donation appointment.”
A Lifetime of Giving, On and Off the Battlefield
Participating in the ImpactLife Blood Center’s tribute to veterans is an honor. Half of my life has been spent in military service, and the same amount of time has been dedicated to donating blood. Currently, I serve on the Executive Committee for the Board of Directors, and have learned a great deal from this experience. I hope this short video will transcend Veterans Day and inspire people to donate well into the future.
