Why Toxic Leadership is an Oxymoron
“The term Toxic Leadership is as backward as it gets.”
Leadership is an art (and a science – my view expanded since this video was recorded). Leadership is designed to help us cope with change and make us and our organizations better. Toxic means poisonous, venomous, and destructive. If you make the mistake of adding the word toxic to any other positive or productive word, you get an oxymoron. Toxic and leadership should never be used in the same sentence.
