REBOOT Recovery of the Quad Cities is known for our innovative approaches to providing trauma healing in the community. Last year, we offered our first summer Trauma REBOOT course. Not to be outdone, we held our first Advanced REBOOT course in the Fall. Once again, we were asked to heed the call to heal from trauma. This summer, we are offering our second trauma course, this time in Spanish. My fluency in Spanish is limited, although I managed to write a book in Spanish. So my co-facilitator, Maria Berdecia, and a course graduate, Ivette Tunison, will lead this course.

We all learn better in an environment that facilitates our understanding. For those with English as a Second Language or who may be bilingual, trauma healing may occur better in the language they are more proficient in.
