Bettendorf Local Authors Showcase

Only one week left until the Bettendorf Public Library Local Author Showcase! It features authors from throughout the Quad Cities, who share their stories, answer questions, and sell their products. This second event should be even more exciting and informative to the public.

Come and meet, listen to, and be enthralled by writers, editors, book publishers, and promoters from various genres. Categories include children’s books, adult romance, science fiction, poetry, religion and spirituality, leadership and management, coaching and mentoring, sports history, autobiographies, and much more. Authors may read passages from their books, share how and why they became authors, and explain the joy of writing.

The book postcard is an example of authorware or an author’s tool to create interest in their work. Even if readers do not purchase directly from the author, a takeaway helps them keep the author top of mind, review the author’s work, and purchase a copy later.

The showcase is FREE to attend and also serves as an inspiration to inspiring authors. The pertinent information is on the blog’s main image.
